Good day to you. My name is Skylar and I am a very new member to the Clubhouse. The day I wrote this article was my first day helping out at the Clubhouse. It was great, everyone was exceedingly helpful. At one point four people came to my aid simply because I didn’t know where the free water bottles were.

As a new comer, all of the wonderful displays of joyful giving and serving show me that this type of environment is definitely a place that I will be returning to frequently.

As for the reason that I am here, well let’s just say my brain likes to do its own thing most of the time, but being here gives me hope. A feeling that I can make it and with the help of Gina from the DOR and everyone here at the Clubhouse I’ll be back on my feet in no time at all. So thanks to everyone who’s reading this right now, thanks for all the care and support, and most of all for believing that we have what it takes to overcome any obstacle at any time for all the good reasons.
