Summary: A chronicle of country music legend Johnny Cash's life, from his early days on an Arkansas cotton farm to his rise to fame with Sun Records in Memphis, where he recorded alongside Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. Starring: Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Tuesday, March 9 at 6 p.m. Enloe Conference Center 1528 Esplanade Dr. Ragins is one of the founding staff of the Village and was instrumental in Steve Lopez' understanding of Nathanial Ayres' illness in The Soloist. In 1995, he was a co-recipient of the APA's van Ameringen Award. His talk is sponsored by the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health and the National Alliance of Mental Illness. This event is free and open.
