Below you will find links to the Clubhouse Standards, our members' 'bill of rights', as well as research about the Clubhouse model of psychiatric rehabilitation.
Clubhouse Standards
The 36 International Standards for Clubhouse Programs define the Clubhouse Model of rehabilitation, and serve as a "bill of rights" for members and a code of ethics for staff, board and administrators.
At the heart of the Clubhouse community, the Standards provide the basis for assessing Clubhouse quality, through the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) certification process.

In January 2000, the International Center of Clubhouse Development (ICCD), in partnership with the University of Massachusetts Medical School, created the Program for Clubhouse Research to develop and support an international research agenda and to increase the quality and quantity of research on the Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
The Program for Clubhouse Research provides assistance to Clubhouses and researchers considering participation in Clubhouse related research projects, and acts as a clearinghouse for Clubhouse research.
